After lunch with my husband, I decided to go to Value Village because this particular location has always brought me good finds.
I ended up getting three dresses, a skirt, two pair of jeans (to be converted into cut-offs) and a fanny pack and pants for my morning walks.
I think the best part of this was that I just walked in there, skimmed the store, grabbed the items, paid, all in 15 minutes.
I then went to buy soil, cleaning supplies, and tofu for dinner.
I got home and replanted some tomatoes and peppers and rearranged the layout of everything. It was really hot out. I was dripping sweat from my temples and my dress was soaked. I got inside, washed up, and it was 4pm.
Today I'm staying in all day. I'm going to work on the dress for the D.I.Y Challenge and hopefully finish it.

*my legs arent hairy, I swear, I just have a skin condition that results in a lot of scarring, which is why I dont like having bare legs
I think I'm going to cut down on my posts and only post when I have a good outfit and focus on thrift, like today.

ReplyDeleteits actually a maternity dress, so it has no shape, but there is a stretch to it. i used to really be into stripes, but i'm really getting into polka dots now too
