four eyes

So, I am finally back from California.
The flight home was a really bad experience, involving misplaced luggage and loooooong waits in the freezing cold, car stuck in ice, no one to help, etc.

I was dealing with some not so great news about my mother while i was in California, which made it hard to go too far from my computer, which is my phone. I layed pretty low, with a few trips into San Francisco and checking out some places close by.

When I returned home, I was given the worst news possible about my mother and have been spending my days in the hospital this week and that's all i'm going to say about that.

My husband and I are very sad to be back for a number of reasons.
I think that whenever you spend a bunch of time away from home, you come back either hating your city or appreciating it more. We are definitely the former.

This was a bit too negative but I'm feeling very blah.

Tonight we are making tacos so that's something!
